Mumbai born Ranjit Heer is passionate about her work and strives toward achieving her goals. One of these goals includes making a name of herself in the fashion industry, and this lucky lady’s work paid off, as she was featured in Vancouver Fashion Week 2015.

Tell us about the path you took to get to where you are today.

I moved to Vancouver about 10 years ago from Mumbai. I started off as a sales associate in a bridal boutique and then I completed a course in fashion designing from Blanche Macdonald in Vancouver. I have participated in some fashion events in Vancouver and have been designing clothes for my clients as per their requirements. I showcased my designs at the Vancouver Fashion Week recently.  I feel the path I took had several roadblocks along the way however now I am reaping rewards of my hardwork as I am getting recognition for my designs.
