Sukhi Ghuman has spent over 10 years working in various sectors of the entertainment industry, as a producer, writer, television host and reporter for Shaw Multicultural Channel and Shaw TV. Currently, Sukhi freelances as a Digital Marketing Strategist, with an emphasis on branding and social media. Sukhi is also a lifestyle photographer, fashion blogger and works as a Marketing and Events Manager with the University of British Columbia.
In addition, for twelve years, Sukhi Ghuman was a Board of Director with the Vancouver International Bhangra Celebration (VIBC) Society and has volunteered her time to host the annual, “A World of Smiles” Telethon in support of BC Children’s Hospital for twelve consecutive years. Sukhi has also been a Board of Director of the Roundhouse Community Arts and Recreation centre since 2017.
In 2017, Sukhi Ghuman chaired the first Super Girl Within Conference. This was a conference dedicated for grade 9 girls at LA Matheson Secondary School in Surrey. In 2018, Sukhi will be chairing the BYOBF Network’s WE FOR SHE Conference on May 16, 2018.

Manpreet Dhillon, co-founder of Be Your Own Best Friend, wears another hat as a Freedom Catalyst. She helps ethnic women create more freedom in their life and the game plan they need so women are happier, healthier and more successful. Manpreet is a Certified Personal and Business Coach, Certified Heal Your Money Story Coach, Certified Human Resources Professional with a Masters in Organizational Management to allow her to support women in moving forward in life.
Manpreet volunteers her time serving as Chair of Tka’s Eternal Life Society, and has served as the past Vice-Chair of the Vancouver International Bhangra Celebration Society and President of the Vancouver chapter of Asha for Education.
Manpreet has a strong passion for bringing the best out of people and have them live their dream life. She believes that everyone is meant to be abundant, health, have the life they want both personally and professionally. On the business side, Manpreet works with organizations on strategy, change management, organizational culture and building community. While she is not being a super woman, she loves traveling, experiencing cultures, volunteering, researching new cheesy jokes that she will repeat over and over again until she finds a new one .
