BYOBF NETWORK SPEAKER SERIES:

CHAI AND CHAT WITH UPPMA VIRDI

Let’s talk empowerment and connection!

Join us for an interactive event with Uppma Virdi, a proud first generation Indian Australian migrant and owner of Chai Walli. A natural born leader, Uppma is passionate about inspiring positive change, which she believes begins with ourselves. She is a trailblazer who became an accidental entrepreneur while working as a commercial lawyer in Melbourne. She built Chai Walli from the ground up, with a deep focus on preserving the Indian culture of authentic masala chai and Ayurvedic teas. She has proven to be an innovator and social media savvy business woman changing the face of small business. She leads her business and her team with integrity and conscious decision making.

Learn all about Uppma’s entrepreneurial journey and how Chai Walli has been a vehicle of positive change making, while connecting face-to-face with a group of like-minded South Asian women at our upcoming event! It’s an exciting and rare opportunity for us to have an intimate meet and greet with Uppma while she is visiting Canada for a short trip.

We might also get treated to some of Chai Walli’s award winning chai blends!

Our Be Your Own Best Friend (BYOBF) community is made up of motivated, successful and passionate women from all walks of life with one common belief: that investing in themselves and in other women is powerful and beautiful.

Enjoy an afternoon of:

  • Networking and creating new connections
  • Discussing how to build a small business with impact
  • Hearing about the journey of a first generation migrant and how she navigated the cultural hurdles with the highs and the lows
  • Cheering on the women around you
