Chicago, how I love thee! My first time visit Chicago has me wanting to return sooner than later. Maybe it was the amazing architecture including the intersection of cultures and history (this mosque has been turned into a Bloomingdales) or maybe it was the food (loved, loved the Pacific Coast Oysters at Epic and the Chicago Style Hot dogs), but I am in love.

Being the hub for jazz and blues, going to Andy’s was a must for dinner and the jazz show. I felt I had been taken back a few decades as Andy’s has been around since 1951, the food was the perfect comfort food as we enjoyed the beautiful music.

The weekend needed to include a trip to Michigan Avenue for some great shopping.
